How can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets online, by phone 845-786-2873, by mail (Penguin Rep Box Office, P.O. Box 91, Stony Point, NY 10980-0091), or in-person. Tickets must be paid for in advance; no unpaid reservations will be made or held. You can pay for tickets with cash, by check or by credit card: Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover. There is no service charge for telephone orders or orders paid by credit card. There are no additional facility charges.
Where are you located?
The Penguin Repertory Company is located at 7 Crickettown Road in historic Stony Point (Rockland County), New York. We are about 40 minutes north of the George Washington Bridge, and less than 15 minutes south of Bear Mountain State Park and the Bear Mountain Bridge. The theatre is easily accessible by car via the Palisades Interstate Parkway (Exit 15) and Route 9W. Unfortunately, public transportation to and from the theatre is limited. How large is the theatre? What is it like?
Penguin Rep’s Bobbi Lewis Barn Playhouse is an intimate, 108-seat theatre converted from an 1880s hay barn. It is fully air-conditioned and heated, and features spanking new upholstered theatre seats and carpeting, as well as a brick patio, wheelchair accessible lobby, restrooms and entrance. Sight lines are good from anywhere in the theatre; there are no obstructions, each row of theatre seats is raised, and no seat is more than 12 rows from the stage. There is plenty of free parking.

Penguin Rep is the first year-round nonprofit professional theatre in Rockland County’s history. Since its founding in 1977, Penguin Rep has brought outstanding professional actors and playwrights together to produce exciting and thought-provoking new plays. Over the past three decades, the company has not only introduced dozens of new works, but has seen them move to Off Broadway, across the country, and around the world.
How will I get my tickets?
If you’re a subscriber, your tickets will be mailed to you. Otherwise, your tickets will be available for pick up at the Box Office on the day of the performance. Please be sure to pick up your tickets no later than 15 minutes before curtain.
What if I can’t make a performance?
All sales are final, and tickets cannot be returned or refunded. Single tickets are not exchangeable for another performance. Subscribers are entitled to ticket exchanges with at least 48 hours advance notice.
Do you offer discounts for seniors?
Currently, Penguin Rep does not offer discounted tickets to seniors, although all patrons are welcome to take advantage of discounted subscriptions.
Do you offer discounts for young people?
Yes. Penguin Rep does offer discounted rate tickets to patrons who are 30 years old or younger (with proof of age): $16 a show, or $64 for a season subscription (four shows).
What if I’m in a wheelchair?
Penguin Rep’s Bobbi Lewis Barn Theatre is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the Box Office to arrange wheelchair seating. Please arrive at the theatre no later than 30 minutes before curtain. Disabled parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What if I am hearing impaired? Very tall? Very short? Just had surgery?
Please contact the Box Office if you require special seating. We will do our best to accommodate any special needs. However, we cannot guarantee specific seats. All seating is subject to availability, with seats being assigned to subscribers before single tickets go on sale to the general public.

We welcome volunteers to support many aspects of the theatre’s operations – in the office, during fundraisers, in house management and the box office, and backstage.
